I’m Reece — a Canadian photographer based in Alberta with a strong connection to the North.
Most of my work comes from time spent on back roads, frozen lakes, mountain highways, small towns, and remote places where the weather usually has the final say. I’m drawn to quiet moments that most people drive past — shifting light, empty landscapes, distant wildlife, and the feeling of being small in wide open places.
Photography started as a way to document the places around me, but it quickly became something more personal. I never got into it to chase perfection. For me, it has always been about atmosphere and feeling. Cold mornings. Storm light. Long drives. Silence. I want my images to feel honest and lived in rather than overly polished or manufactured.
When I’m not behind the camera, I work in aircraft maintenance as a Production Supervisor. Spending years around aircraft, harsh weather, and remote northern operations has shaped the way I see landscape, scale, and detail. That influence naturally finds its way into my photography.
Every image here is captured with the intention of making the viewer feel like they were there — the cold air, the silence, the scale, and the mood of the moment.
